Comet orbital elements are much impermanent and when you want to
load a comet catalog for Power Age Sky Simulator you must consider which one to be loaded
according to the current observation date. Example: If you are looking for comets
and your current Power Age observation map is fixed to August 5, 2001 you must load a
comet catalog with date nearest to August 5, 2001 - com3_20010801.gbd.
Loading of appropriate comet catalog is obligatory if you
need of precise comet positions. Of course, you can compute comet positions with non
up-to-date catalog, but you may lose some precision.
When you download some comet catalog you must copy it to your
\data\comets directory located in your Power Age Sky Simulator directory.
Some browsers insert additional empty lines when you use "Save as..." option.
When you copy a *.gbd file, make sure that there are no empty lines or other non comet
data lines in the file.
